This is a great little site that I have just come accross call The Doghouse Diaraies that consists of lots of little cartoons that are great, some are brilliant and really make you think others are just down right hilarious. Dont ask me why its called the doghouse Diaries but after a while of getting into the comics you seem to think hmmm this is rather appropriate =) So if its just a few minutes you have to spare or a whole hour that you need to kill then this is the site for you. It all started with my brother asking me how I would draw a soccer ball pattern onto a 3d sphere, well I thought thats pretty simple all you have to do is draw a couple of hexagons and pentagons and voila soccer ball....or is it really that simple. All of a sudden you are thinking about how they will match up on the other end and what if the size of the hexagons and pentagons is wrong well this will clear some of that up for you (or maybe it will confuse you even more lol)

For all of you soccer fans out there getting ready for the 2010 World Cup this is for you (and for all you other people who just floated in) Can you even handle how much is involved in getting one of those little balls ready for that big game. Well are you? Whoever created these works of art surely is. Absolutely amazing, most of them look so life-like you dont know whether you are even looking at a sculpture. I am particularly a fan of the giant head I do think that is cool not to sure how it would look in my garden though but I am sure that we could make a plan (Probably scare off the neighbours I would imagine!) Wow this is cool, a nice educational one that will make you think. Tells you all about the most puzzling ancient artifacts, very cool. Most of which I did not even know existed so pretty interesting as well as amazing from Grooved Spheres from South Afirca dating back to 2.8billion years old to Giant Stone Balls of Costa Rica some as big as 8 feet in diameter. Ok so today I just decided to look for something to keep me busy for a few minutes while waiting for everyone to get ready so we could go out. I came across this site. Its a blog that has loads of great things, aimed at primary school teachers but I had fun browsing it too, made me aware of bob the builders website (great fun) and the Byokal17 Kaleidascope is awesome. Well now here is a nice educational site for you to check out. I was suffering from my sinuses the other day and was randomly searching for things about breathing and have difficulty and all the rest. Came accross http://www.breathingearth.net/ and wow what a cool site. Tells you all about the CO2 emissions from every country in the world as well as their birth and death rate, its awesome. The thing that got me was since I had been watching 1702 people have been born and 687 people have died its incredibly interesting, educational and totally hypnotic watching the little counter climb. What a great site Kudos to whoever came up with this and what a great one to show the kids at school and get them interested in this sort of thing.

Sidewalk Chalk guy

Well this I found just by accident someone sent me one of those emails that has cool pictures on and one of them was a cool drawing on the sidewalk so decided to find some more like that came accross http://gprime.net/images/sidewalkchalkguy/ which has some great pics that this guy does on the sidewalk all in chalk. Absolutely brilliant you just have to love his creativity. The rest of the site is pretty cool too has some interested illusions and movies that you can check out. Rock Pools

Well today we went for our normal walk to the beach that we do every sunday and today we spent most of the day playing in the rockpools looking for pebbles to fill a vase. So I decided that rockpools would be an interesting thing to google. Found an a great site called http://www.artrock.co.za/ they are a company that specialises in creating swimming pools with rocks. Some of the designs they do are awesome. I would love to have a pool like some of these in my backyard they are gorgeous. Anyone thinking about getting a pool should really have a check at this site it has some brilliant ideas that could provide some great inspiration for those trying to create a unique and beautiful entertainment area. The reason that I have decided that COW is the word for today is actually a facebook fault. You see I have been getting endless requests to join farmville on facebook, a very cute highly addictive application that seems to have overtaken half of my facebook friends. Anyway on accepting one of these invitations I had the opportunity to send something to one of my neighbours, which of course I decided a cow was appropriate. Hence the choice. Upon googling the word a few random things appeared but one in particular caught my eye the site is called https://www.aipl.arsusda.gov/kc/cowfacts.html and it has all sorts of interesting facts about cows. Now I know what you are thinking who actually gives a toss. But seriously go check it out there are a few things on there that may suprise you like Water buffalo, camels, goats, sheep, horses, and reindeer can also be milked, not only is it quite interesting for some of us adults who take advantage of where our milk comes from but the site is actually aimed at kids and has a cute little cow quiz and a game section which is very educational. Well I dont know about you but I definately learnt something new today wonder what tomorrows word will bring.

The blog is back, so glad about that you have no idea. This time however we are going to do things a little differently. I am going to be doing Random Reviews of websites. Now how this is going to work is while I am going about my business durring they day I am going to pick a random word, just something that catches my eye. It could be a pigeon on the side of the road a potato in the store, anything. Then I am going to google this random word. Whatever is the first website to come up that catches my eye I will review. Could be anything, could be nothing but it might just be something. This way some random site gets a review making people just that much more interested in them and wanting to check them out, and hopefully people will show us the same courtesy and link back to us for giving them some free advertising. So lets see how this goes shall we.
